The ideal temperature for coffee is 185 degrees. Anything that is hot, over 100+ degrees is very hot and should be handled with caution. Restaurants are or should be around the same temperature. There are some places I've gotten coffee where it's probably been around 160 degrees. So, temperature sensor is the key point for coffee machine.
